Solei Studios is a boutique brand of scented candles, founded in 2024. Each candle is made by hand using premium fragrance oils and 100% plant based wax. Our vision is to create fragrance experiences inspired by the sun and feel good moments.

Founder's note
Hello!
I'm Lena, founder of Solei Studios. Born and raised in Swedish Lapland, the land of the midnight sun.
I've spent close to two decades in the London start-up scene, working for familiar fashion e-commerce and tech companies, as product manager.
In January 2024 I made the bold decision to leave my job and see what would happen if I applied the experience I've gained throughout my career to build my own products, by hand. To create something new that would bring delight and joy, where I could really push my own creativity and apply my love for warmth and sunshine. With that, Solei Studios was born.
The joy of the hand crafted
After taking a couple of candle making and fragrance courses over the years I started thinking, what would my own candle range look like if I got to choose the ingredients, the direction and the brand?
Not only was I getting increasingly interested in the craft, I also came to realise that many of the prestigious candle brands I enjoyed used paraffin (petroleum) in its wax. This took me down a rabbit hole of learning about wax, oils and wicks, and how to use plant-based wax to create clean-burning and beautifully scented candles.
Over the coming months I made several 100s of candles, experimenting, learning and later rigorously testing each candle that's now live in our first collection to make sure it's optimised in both scent throw and burn quality.
Our first collection is now live
It feels truly incredible to have launched what started as an idea, bring it out into the real world and hear how much you love the scents.
I'm incredibly proud of this collection. Each candle has undergone extensive testing and optimisation to make sure you get a premium burn and scent performance each time.
